Research (RE)
RE 500 – Theological Research Methods. This course examines the skills necessary for graduate-level research. It explores a variety of methodologies that can be utilized in biblical studies, systematic and historical theology, and practical theology. Discussions will focus on developing engaging research questions, finding critically engaging and useful resources, developing persuasive arguments, revising, and presenting research in various formats. Course assignments allow the student to apply the principles and methods learned and to receive a constructive evaluation from both the instructor and the students throughout the process (2 credits).
