Threshold Is Back With More Course Offerings This Spring
Oct. 20, 2023
For those students seeking flexibility, community, and mentorship, Threshold has been expanded to include more course offerings next semester, Feb. 23–March 2. In addition to the four classes usually offered Monday through Thursday, two additional courses have been added on the front and back end of the week (see full schedule).
Courses available Spring 2024 are:
- "Preaching Gospel-Centered Messages" with Stephen Stallard, PhD
- "Practicing Prayer and Other Key Disciplines" with Andrew Pack, EdD
- "Integrating Ministry and Theology" with Gerry Breshears, PhD
- "Theology II: Glorifying the Word of Life" with Todd Miles, PhD
- "Hermeneutics" with Richard M. Blaylock, PhD
- "The Church in Public: Being the Church in a Politically Charged World" with Scott Reavely, DMin
Threshold is a unique, weeklong opportunity for students to complete one or more in-person courses at our Portland Campus. It is offered every semester and is especially designed for students who might not live in Portland. In addition to all-day classes, students share meals together, participate in chapel, hear from a guest speaker, and have opportunities for mentorship from our faculty.
