for a Sacramento Public Library card. There is no fee to acquire a card. To obtain a card, please
fill out an application at any Sacramento Public Library location. All applicants must show
proof of address and provide an ID number from one of the following: California Drivers License,
California ID, Matricula Consular, Military ID, Passport, or Resident Alien card.
One card is
issued per person and may be used at any Sacramento Public Library
location, as well as libraries in Colusa County , the city of Folsom, Sutter County , and the
city of Woodland .
Library cards have two-year expiration dates and may be renewed at any Sacramento
Public Library location. There is no fee to renew your card.
