placement of Western Seminary’s students
and alumni with churches that have ministry
opportunities available.
are encouraged to submit their ministry position
openings to the Placement Office by completing
the Ministry
Opportunity Form. Positions are then posted
on this website and a hardcopy is filed in
the Placement Office for students to review.
Students seeking ministry positions visit
these sources frequently.

The Placement Office
exists to facilitate the placement of graduating
students and alumni in local church ministries.
Completion of the Placement Information Form
provides information sought by search committees.
It is also important that a brief resume be
prepared for an initial response to an inquiring
church.
When a church requests
that the information about you contained in
your Placement Information
Form be sent to them, we will send
it to the search committee and notify you
of the same so that you can begin to pray
regarding this potential placement. We leave
it up to the church to notify you of their
interest.
