Western Seminary Honors 180 Graduates at its 98th Commencement

Western Seminary hosted its 98th annual commencement on April 18, celebrating the academic achievement of 180 graduates from nine countries and 26 states.

During the ceremony, alumnus and pastor Chris Nye posed the question: “Why on earth did we go to seminary?” His two-word answer: gospel confidence. Chris shared how seminary offered him the opportunity to grow in his confidence in the person and work of Jesus Christ in a day and age when “distortions of the gospel reverberate across our communities, churches, and institutions.”
