Lausanne Partners with Western Seminary to Equip Global Leaders
March 11, 2025
Western Seminary and the Lausanne Movement are collaborating to launch the Doctor of Global Leadership degree to prepare leaders for greater ministry impact around the world. This new degree program will open in the fall of 2025 to qualified global leaders.
“We are thrilled to partner with Lausanne – an organization with a likeminded commitment to evangelism and the historic gospel of Jesus Christ,” says Chuck Conniry, PhD, the president of Western Seminary.
The Lausanne Movement’s leadership is comprised of hundreds of men and women serving all over the world. The Doctor of Global Leadership program will provide intense equipping with a focus on global mission that prepares leaders for the challenges they will encounter in global ministry.
The degree program will be offered through a select cohort of Lausanne-affiliated leaders, with limited seats open to exceptional leaders who are not currently associated with Lausanne. These leaders will be equipped to articulate issues within their own mission context that require both theoretical understanding and practical engagement. Students will learn from world-class faculty as they engage in coursework for three years, with a fourth year dedicated to project completion.
Significant scholarships and grants are available to eligible applicants. To learn more about program eligibility and the application process, request info to connect with Western’s admissions team.
