Cohorts

Western Seminary offers several degree programs in a cohort model, allowing a small group of students to journey through their program together from start to finish.  Western reviews prospective students for admission based on criteria for each program.

Bay Area Cohorts Cohorts specifically designed for Bay Area church leaders in need of theological training. 52 credits (3 years) San Jose	Counseling Online Pathway Cohorts Integrate a biblical worldview with current counseling theory and techniques. 68 credits (3 years) Online*
Portland MAML Cohorts A cohort to equip and train local church leaders within their current ministry contexts. 52 credits (3 years) Portland

*The online pathway for the counseling program includes one week of residency each summer at our Portland Campus.

Leadership Cohorts A peer-to-peer learning environment for experienced ministry leaders in need of further graduate education.  36 credits (3 years) Portland / Online / Costa Mesa / Boise / Tulsa
