"God has made political claims on our lives and the lives of others that trump all other claims. We wrestle against Him as we attempt to assert our own authority, but we are fighting a losing battle. Submission, or as Christians typically refer to it, conversion, is more than the mere recognition of this fact. Indeed, it is the embrace of His claims."

A Defining Moment

"As an undergraduate, I thought most other students had similar backgrounds and desires for their futures, which was easy to do in a fairly remote corner of Montana. I was walking across campus one day and encountered a young woman doing a survey, recruiting for a well-known cult at the time. I was slightly dumbfounded that she was so bold, and I was so apathetic for my faith. I realized in that moment that something needed to change. From then on, my life's direction has been toward knowing Christ and making Him known."
