About the Library
The Western Seminary Library seeks to be a resource that supports research, scholarship, and life-long learning throughout the seminary’s sphere of influence. Western Seminary’s mission is to “serve as a catalyst and resource for spiritual transformation by providing, with and for the church, advanced training for strategic ministry roles.” A strong and effective library is a vital component to the fulfillment of this mission.
The Western Seminary Library is located in the Cline-Tunnell Library building on Western’s Portland campus and electronically via its webpages.
Guests are welcome to visit the library and may apply for a complimentary library account. Please see the Locations page for information specific to each campus location.
